Help People and Support Communities

Glasgow Women‘s Aid has been supporting women, children and young people who are experiencing Domestic Abuse for over 35 years.

Glasgow Women‘s Aid was established in 1973 as part of the second wave of the women‘s liberation movement. During this time women recognised that there was a need to provide support to women who were experiencing domestic abuse. Initially the focus was on the women‘s experiences but as the organisation evolved our focus included children and young people.

Our public access office is located in the Merchant city area of Glasgow city centre. This is where most women will make their first contact with us, whether in person or by telephone. We have private support rooms where women can speak to workers with a play area incorporated for any children that they may have with them. Women can access our service for as long as they feel necessary.

At BXNG we believe that working out should motivate us for the rest of the day. You don’t need to be amazing to start but you need to start to be amazing.

At BXNG we aim to inspire, motivate, and challenge whilst building a community with good vibes and positive energy. At the core of BXNG is its coaches who are motivated and inspiring professionals who have come together to deliver a unique fitness experience and provide you with everything you need to build a better you and to compete and fight towards a collective goal.

BXNG was created to be a centre for boxing, fitness and training that shakes up the usual outdated faceless gym groups. We are focussed on being unique, authentic and badass!
